South Africa has a small number of established naturist resorts and a long-standing community of associations. Because public naturist spaces are limited, private venues are where naturism happens.
Established resorts and associations
Regional naturist associations, such as those affiliated with the South African National Naturist Association (SANNA), list member-friendly resorts and run their own events. Many resorts ask for booking in advance and have their own policies, including for singles. Always check a venue’s rules directly.
